Other grades of syrup available this year are “Amber Color Rich Taste” (formally Medium Amber), and “Very Dark Color Strong Taste” (formally Extra Dark for cooking or grade B). The darker the color the stronger the maple flavor. Unfortunately “Golden Color Delicate Taste” (formally Light Amber or Fancy) is not available.

Bourbon barrel aged maple syrup, is made by aging our maple syrup in a bourbon barrel for several months. During this time the syrup absorbs the bourbon flavor that was left behind during the aging of the bourbon. Excellent as a marinade on salmon, pork and chicken. A real treat on ice cream. It can also be added to seltzer water and other drinks.

Maple Cream can be used in place of butter on pancakes, waffles, English muffins and toast. It can be used as a frosting on doughnuts and muffins. Delicious right out of the container. IT MUST BE STORED in your refrigerator or freezer. Freezing extends shelf life.
